PRAYER FOR GOODNESS
Help me God to be real good Let me be your friend anew
Doing what I know I should Doing what I ought to do.
Letting go of all that's bad Speak no evil, do no wrong.
Habits that I've often had. Act like Jesus all day long
Amen
What's New!
The Youth Group met over the weekend for our monthly group meeting! We discussed our ongoing campaign, "Change For A Change", where we sponsor a young girl through a program called C.O.A.R.
Estefany is from El Salvador and we help to provide her with housing, clothes, food and an education.... just bring in a handful of change to each meeting. We receive picture's from her and we write letters back and forth. This has been a great way for the children to see that a little change can go a long way!!
Next we added to our "Hands of Hope" wall at the "Living Room" This is a wall filled with each child's hand prints, and written in each hand is "GOD USE ME TO”: and each child has written something meaningful in it. What we added to our new wall was both hands not just one, written inside the hands is an inspirational quote that each child picked out on their own. We are calling the wall "Inspired Hands" . The kids in the Youth Group are so amazing, and full of hope and dreams! Welcome to our newest member, Sofia Marquez! We are glad to have you as part of our group :)
A big THANK YOU to the Carnevale Family for their recent donation to our "Living Room" game room. The arcade game units are awesome....the kids love them and we truly appreciate your generosity!
Finally on Sunday, January 15th, the Youth Group will be having a bake sale after the 4:00 Mass. The proceeds will go to one of our former Y.G members. Alissa Watts, now a sophomore at Drexel University, plays for their women's Lacrosse Team. They have an opportunity to play the University of Denver. It will be an excellent challenge for the girls and fun for them to spend their Spring break together as a team!
Alissa needs to raise money for the trip; please give what you can!!!!!!

Our “Kids Helping Kids” campaign is going strong!
Each month our children participate in a service project to help a local or national organization that is in need. Some of our projects include: Project Beach Sweep, Souper Bowl of Caring, Operation Iraq Child, Toys 4 Tots, Care Packages for Troops, Ronald McDonald House,
It’s not all work and no play here at the Youth Group! We also deserve to have some fun! For a job well done, we have cool activities including: Beach Volleyball, Great Adventure, Mass at the Beach, Evening Bonfire, Summer Bash at Seashore Day Camp, Blue Claws Games, Field Day and Friday Fun Nights.
